Indie-ish Commercial Station in Florida Retreats to More Mainstream Music

Bummer. Another indie-ish commercial station changes its tune because of low ratings. I'm so jaded about commercial radio, that it's always surprising to hear about any bastion of independence on the right side of the dial. Apparently Gainesville, Florida had such an outpost on WHHZ - The Buzz for awhile, but sadly, the format had to change to attract more listeners. A bit of the old indie, local, and genre-specific programming can still be heard on some of the Sunday night specialty shows, so that's one bright spot.
